Development Journey
I developed TwoDown to serve a need I had identified for myself, travelling Europe on my motorcycle as I passed and greeted thousands of fellow motorcycle riders. Motorcycle riders share a strong culture, no matter where you come from and what you ride and I wanted to create a way to make connecting with each other easier and more fun.
Primary features
The TwoDown mobile app has two main feature sets:
Proximity detection presents users with other riders they have passed on their way. Proximity detection can be turned off any time. Once connected, riders can view profiles and chat.
Ride events lets users host and join rides complete with ride details, meeting points, map support, GPX file import and export and roster control.
